Children’s Ministry at Hope Church

School has been back in session for about a month now, but here at Hope Church our “school year” is just getting started.  This month’s blog is talking about all things children’s ministry: our classes, our curriculum, and special events!

We offer a variety of programming for children of all ages at Hope.  Below is a schedule of our Sunday morning happenings, along with information about our Family Dinner Nights.  Where noted, we use LifeWay’s “Explore the Bible” curriculum for kids.  This is a three-year, book by book study of the Bible, equipping our kids with a foundational understanding of God’s word and encouraging them to live what they learn everywhere they go.  And guess what?!  There is an app that goes along with the curriculum!  Download the “LifeWay Kids” app for FREE, select the “Explore the Bible” curriculum for the current season, and have instant access to what your child learned in Sunday school that week!  This is a quick and easy way to continue the conversation beyond Sunday morning.  The app also has lots of information for parents, fun facts for kids, and even a recordable Bible verse for each week—have fun while memorizing Scripture!

***During the 11:00 service on FIRST and FIFTH Sundays, there is no Preschool, K-1st, or 2nd-5th classes so families may attend church together. ***

We also host Family Dinner Nights on the SECOND WEDNESDAY of every month.  All children, youth, and their families are invited to attend!  Dinner is FREE!  Family Dinner Nights begin at 6 p.m. and end by 7:30 p.m.

Getting involved in Sunday school from a young age is so important for life-long faith development!  Learning God’s word together and building relationships—having Christian peers and adult role models-- are important priorities in our children’s ministry.  We “Hope” to see you soon!
