A recent blog post was about the relationship between smartphones and teens. This post includes some great guidelines to implement with your teens when it comes to smart devices.

1. Loan the Phone

    - Stay in control, it’s your phone, you bought it, you’re paying the bill. You are loaning it out.

2. Implement Parental Controls

3. Think About Installing Monitoring Apps

- Such as PhoneSheriff, Pumpic, or  SecureTeen Parental Control

4. Establish Screen Free Time

    - Make sure you have phone free time set and hold to it.

5. No Smart Devices After 9 pm

- Nothing good happens after midnight, well typically nothing great is happening after 9 pm on a smart device.

6. Create Intentional About Family Times - SmartPhone Free

- Mom and Dad, you have to put the devices down too. It’s family time.

7. Monitor the Music, Videos and Other Media
